The White Horse Inn Heavitree Brewery
Ord built this courtyard in the 17th-century and the famous 'White Horse Inn' was located at the north end of the close. The name of the inn was of course inspired by Queen Mary and her favourite white horse. It was a popular coaching inn that provided accommodation for those travelling to and from London via stagecoach.
