Christopher Columbus set out from Cádiz on his second voyage (1493-96) to America and organized this trip from El Puerto, among other places. Well worn; cute; with storks. Cute church. Intricate carved facade although eroded and careworn. Usual stuff inside. Whizz round it and go back to the cafes on the square for a good view of the storks on the church roof. Much more interesting than the inside of the church itself. Well worth a stop.
