If you are a Brahms fan, don't miss this place. I had visited Brahms grave in Vienna in 2002 and my visit to Hamburg, his birthplace, made my tribute to this composer, who I am a fan of, especially his violin concerto D major, completed. Museum is on Peterstrasse; approx.10 minutes on foot from the concert hall at Johannes Brahms Platz.
