The Platypus Track is a 1.7km loop which starts at the end of Excelsior Avenue Castle Hill near Eric Mobbs Reserve playing fields. While it's called Platypus Track, unfortunately there are no longer any of the creatures in Excelsior Creek. They were regularly seen up to the 1970s until the installation of the sewer.
